She grew up in a small town in Tennessee running around the backyard, dreaming dreams and picking four leaf clovers. She always wanted to be an artist as a youth, and while pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design, she was able to take a variety of formal courses in painting, drawing and printmaking.
